If you are newly engaged, I recommend attending a bridal show in your area. It's a great introduction to the Wonderful World of Wedding Planning. The West Chester Bridal Show is April 17th at Milestone Events from 1 to 4:30 pm. (Milestone Events is directly across from the $3 Car Wash on East Market Street.) Milestone Events is still a fairly new venue that hosts a variety of events in addition to weddings.
At the show, you'll meet local vendors offering the best wedding services in the area. Caricatures by Emily will be offering brides FREE caricatures. You can check out her excellent work at http://www.emilyarts.com. Weather permitting we'll have Horse & Carriage rides from Trinity Carriage http://www.trinitycarriage.com. Cakes & Candies by Maryellen, whose BRAND NEW bakery opens March 5th on West Chester Pike, has been treating our brides to delicious desserts for the past 4 years and never disappoints. Albright Events Opens Office in Cranbury, NJ

Albright Events now has an adorable office in Cranbury, New Jersey. Historic Cranbury was founded in 1697 and is located in Middlesex County, east of Princeton and about 50 miles from both New York City and Philadelphia and close to the shore and mountains. This central location allows us to better serve customers in PA, NJ, NY and DE.

When a wedding video is done well, it tells the story of the bride and groom in their own words. Alicia Nathanson of Blossom Productions took my breath away with this video she produced for a wedding I coordinated at The Radnor Hotel last April for Diana McNamee and Jim Clavin. To say I jumped at the chance to be part of Devon and Jamie’s wedding this past summer is no exaggeration. They had all the elements of an elegant Main Line wedding produced by some of the best wedding vendors in our area. The ceremony took place at the fairytale-like Chapel at Valley Forge Military Academy. The reception was on the grounds of Radnor Hunt in Malvern which served as the perfect backdrop for the most amazing scenic shots taken by my favorite wedding photographers, Sarah & Tony DiCicco. Des Jardins did an amazing job reflecting the bride’s beauty in her flowers. And what would a Main Line wedding be without delicious fare from J. Scott Catering. The entire affair felt like it belonged in an issue of Town & Country magazine so it’s not surprising that the Fall/Winter 2009 wedding issue is exactly where a beautiful portrait of the couple can be seen.
